Private Sessions: Live Streaming & Outdoors In-person (observing safety guidlines)

PILATES & MOVEMENT Private Sessions are about increasing strength and flexibility, as well as improving posture and balance, and developing the  ability to move with more ease. Sessions are tailored to your specific needs and goals. 

Zoom sessions give you the individual attention, advice and encouragement to improve postural, movement, and fitness issues. 

Outdoor Sessions are offered in Tilden Park, or other open spaces, while maintaining social distancing, wearing masks, and not touching. Sessions can include working with balance, posture, walking, strength training, and learning how to use trekking poles properly.

Pilates & Movement (60-minute)

Ernie Adams is a Pilates Instructor and  Guild Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner with an extensive background as a professional dancer. He has over 20-years’ experience specializing in movement education and injury prevention, including many years clinical experience collaborating with physical therapists to treat orthopedic, neurological, dance and sports related injuries.

Pilates & Movement is a “somatic” approach Ernie has developed integrating Pilates with Feldenkrais, Yoga, and Dance. In addition to live online classes, he will also be offering classes and private sessions at his offices in  El Cerrito once the Covid-19 stay-at-home order is lifted.
